Melissa “Missy” Eich-Richardson, LICSW
Trauma-Informed Psychotherapist | Social Justice-Oriented | Supporting Adults Through Life's Transitions

As a trauma-informed and strengths-based clinician, my work is grounded in social justice, relational, attachment, and family systems frameworks. I believe in the inherent resilience of my clients and approach therapy as a collaborative journey of healing, growth, and change.

I specialize in working with adults navigating stress, trauma, and life transitions, particularly those managing symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, and depression. My approach integrates CBT, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic techniques to help individuals explore the underlying emotional and relational dynamics influencing their behaviors, and to develop skills and insight that foster lasting change.

I have extensive experience working with Queer and trans identified individuals and their families, offering an affirming and supportive space to explore identity, relationship dynamics, and the challenges that often accompany gender and sexual identity development. I also work with adults at various stages of recovery, helping them explore their relationship with substances and the impact that relationship has on their life, relationships, and overall well-being. Additionally, I provide specialized support for individuals and couples along their reproductive journeys and offer parenting support at various stages, from new parents to those navigating the complexities of parenting through adolescence.
